One night my 4 month old daughter was laughing, squealing and testing out her baby sounds. I started to lean into her tummy to make her laugh again and as I got close she let out a blood curdling scream of excitement. Not only did she scare me she scared herself. She just stared at me with big eyes probably wondering, “Did that come out of me?”

Ever since my nephew was little he loved to kiss. If you are not paying attention you will get a big wet smooch on the cheek. Once he began school he started getting himself into trouble because he kept kissing his classmates. -CA
When my son was in grade school he got in trouble for acting like a bird in class. We found out that his down jacket had a hole in it and when he flapped his “wings” feathers would fly out. -CA
This is a story about my grandmother when she was little. She had a tree in her yard that dropped little fuzzy seed pods that look like green fuzzy caterpillars. She tied a string to one of the “caterpillars” and pulled it along like a pet on a leash. She was walking it through the kitchen where her grandma was when she heard a scream; her grandma was very scared of bugs.

My 3 year old nephew calls me and my sister auntie. When we are both together we never know which auntie he is talking to. If the wrong auntie answers he says, “Not you auntie.” -CA
One night we had spicy noodles for dinner. Zachary, my 3 year old, just kept licking them saying "It's spicy.", then would take a huge gulp of milk. He did this a few times while we encouraged him to take a bite. Finally, he decided to take the plunge. Instead of a little taste he stuffed a huge mounded fork full in his mouth. He gulped it down reaching for his now empty milk glass. His dad went to refill it and Zach leaped off his chair after him jumping up and down saying, "Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!". Not receiving relief quickly enough he yelled,
"I'm a fire boy!" -CA
For the first time my 9 month old got to sit with another baby her age and play. One at a time toys were being set out before the two babies. My daughter grabbed the first toy with one hand, she grabbed the second toy with her other hand, then when the third toy was put down she looked at it and without putting the other two toys down, she grabbed it with her feet. -CA
